Many graduate schools offer financial support to TFA alum as a way to make it financially viable to pursue graduate studies after completing your corps member commitment. Types of support partners offer TFA alumni include:
- Application fee waivers
- Tuition discounts
- Two-year deferrals, allowing you to complete your time in the corps
- Scholarship opportunities
The partners are in addition to the partnerships that TFA regions hold with local graduate schools, which provide Master’s Degree opportunities to current corps members.

TFA engages annually with hundreds of employers who actively pursue our alumni. These partners know that TFA alumni are well-positioned to lead from every field and continue to advocate for opportunity throughout their lives.
Employer partners can offer internships, networking opportunities, deferrals, and more. Many college students who are accepted into TFA and are also offered a position at a partner organization may be able to defer their offer for two years while they complete their corps member commitment.
