Whether you end up moving across the country or teaching in your hometown, we want to give all corps members as much time as possible to prepare for the transition. If admitted, you will receive your offer for location at the same time as your admissions decision.

Yes, to complete the application you will need to write two short-answer responses (450 words maximum for each) about why you are motivated to join Teach For America and your greatest accomplishment in a professional, academic, or organizational setting. Your answers to these questions helps us learn more about your motivations and interest in joining the corps, as well as your achievements. If you are invited to the interview, we may ask you to expand on your responses to these questions.
