Once you have completed all the questions and tasks, you should then be able to click "Submit my application" on the left-hand menu. If the button is still unavailable, go to "My Dashboard," to determine what sections have outstanding tasks.
We begin reviewing applications shortly after they are submitted, so unfortunately, we cannot make any changes to a submitted application. Because of this, we encourage you to review your application materials carefully before submitting them. However, we want to ensure that only correct information is featured on your application. If after you have submitted your application, you realize that you have submitted incorrect information, reach out to the Admissions team as soon as possible.
The maximum word count for each short-answer response is 450. We suggest that responses be about 300 words but there is no word minimum required in order to submit.

All of our interviews are conducted virtually via Zoom, an online video conferencing service. In order to participate in a virtual interview, you must have secure internet access and a webcam. Video is required for the virtual interview.

Placement Communities are filled on a first-come, first-served basis based on Placement Community selections at each application deadline. Given this, some Placement Communities may be closed to new corps members by the time someone applies at a later deadline. Applying earlier may be advantageous if you have a particular Placement Community you would like to teach in.
We ask you that you use your best judgment when you select your response to this question.
Indicators of what we mean by growing up in a low-income community include: Qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch; or receiving government aid such as supplementary security income, food stamps, TANF, WIC.

In order to upload your resume, it must be saved as a PDF. Beyond that, it's up to you to determine how to format your resume. In terms of length, we typically recommend that applicants submit a one-page resume. However, for those applicants who have 10+ years of professional experience may wish to extend their resume. We ask that applicants do their best to stick to this recommendation.
