The semester designation is just to help you keep track of entering your courses. We use the term "semester" since that's what most schools use, but it makes no difference if your school uses quarters, terms, or semesters. The only fields that will factor into your eligibility are the TFA Subject and Units/Credits. You can enter all courses in 1 semester, if you'd like.

If you do not have your transcript yet, you should use an unofficial transcript or details of your coursework from your student portal to complete your form.

Yes. In the case that you are using an official transcript, it is acceptable to unseal your transcript to enter the specific courses and credits earned during your undergraduate and graduate education.

Yes. You should enter every course you have taken and the courses in which you are currently enrolled. Do not include courses that you have not yet registered for.

Your transcript allows us to verify that you meet our eligibility requirements of at least a 2.50 GPA and a bachelor's degree by June, and is required by school districts and university partners.

 

Your Classroom and Region Eligibility is not a factor in our admissions decision. We use this information to help determine your regional and subject/grade level assignment and to understand your eligibility for an offer to the region of your choice.

 

You are not required to enter study-abroad coursework. We do not need this information to determine what you are eligible to teach. Additionally, we recognize the potential challenges in obtaining a study-abroad transcript, i.e., time delays in receiving overseas mail, communicating with a foreign institution, translating foreign transcripts, etc.

When completing your Educational History form, you will select "This was a study abroad." The system will not ask for a transcript when doing so.

How you enter transfer/summer coursework depends on what you shared in the Educational History section you completed in preparation for your interview.

If you took undergraduate-level coursework while you were in high school and earned credits for these courses, you should enter the courses on your form.
