How do I enter transfer and/or summer coursework at another university?
How you enter transfer/summer coursework depends on what you shared in the Educational History section you completed in preparation for your interview.

If you took undergraduate-level coursework while you were in high school and earned credits for these courses, you should enter the courses on your form.
Your map will only allow you to select the regions where you are qualified to teach, based on the requirements set by the state and the information you provided on your Classroom and Region Eligibility tool. If you are not able to select a region, this means you do not currently qualify to teach there.
If a particular subject area isn't listed for a region, this means that either you are not qualified to teach that subject in this region, based on state/district criteria and the coursework you entered on your Classroom and Region Eligibility tool, or the region isn't placing corps members in this subject area for the upcoming school year.

Yes, as long as it is before the deadline you can edit your classroom preferences and regional selections after you've submitted them. Go to your Classroom and Regional Selections and click "Unsubmit" and you'll be able to make changes. To edit just click this section on the left-hand navigation bar. Be sure to re-submit before the deadline once you've made your changes.

You should not list these credits on your Classroom and Region Eligibility Tool, even if your college/university awarded you credit for them. Unfortunately, we cannot factor these types of credits into your overall eligibility.

You should only enter an AP course if your school gave you credit for it and if the specific subject for which you received credit appears on your transcript. For example, if you passed the AP History exam and your school gave you nine history credits which appear on your transcript, you should enter this AP coursework. If your school just gave you general credit, you should not enter this AP coursework.
To enter AP coursework:
If credit was only given the second time you took the class, then you should only enter this course one time, and include the credits for the second time you took it.
If you received credit for the course both times that you took it, you should enter it twice, and enter the credits that appear on your transcript for each entry.

Select the course credit option that is as close to the credits that appear on your transcript as possible, and round your credits down to the nearest available number. For example if you earned 1.30 credits for a course, you would chose 1.25 from the dropdown.
