Teach For America offers Baseline Stipends for all corps members as well as a $3,000 automatic need-based grant to those who graduated after July 1, 2024, and are Pell Grant recipients or from a low-income background and did not receive federal student aid.

If these supports do not meet your financial needs, there is also a Need-Based Financial Program to help corps members make it to their first paychecks. Need-based packages consist of no-interest loans and, in some cases, grants, and are based on an applicant's demonstrated need, the cost of living in the assigned region, their baseline stipend amount, and, where applicable, an automatic need-based grant.

Financial Support is disbursed at the beginning of pre-service training and may be used to meet costs associated with transitioning into the corps, such as travel costs to pre-service commitments and regional practicums, personal and moving expenses (e.g., deposits on apartments), or necessary coursework, testing, and district-processing fees.
