Alumni Hub
The Alumni Hub serves as a baseline launchpad that is external-facing and requires no log in. While there are career opportunities and employer partners visible on this platform, they represent only about 10% of those offered on TFA Career Connect and are intended as a preview of what we can offer.
TFA Career Connect will continue to serve as our digital solution for a national job board and networking platform for corps members, alumni, and employers/recruiters. This platform allows job seekers to look for roles, apply for roles, message prospective employers, share their resume, and network with other alumni working for their target employers and/or working in a region of interest. Employers can quickly find those actively looking for a role and download their resumes. TFA Career Connect is the only place you can do these things. Currently, over 16,000 alumni and 1,000 employers have active accounts on TFA Career Connect. This product requires log in to use ensuring that only TFA alumni have access to these exclusive job opportunities.
The Alumni Hub is a launchpad for the TFA alumni network that is open and accessible to all. Content includes:
- baseline career resources, information, and networking opportunities, curated by industry;
- alumni benefits, discounts, graduate school partnerships, and awards;
- news, events, and links to regional microsites/pages, the Alumni Directory, and Career Connect (formerly known as TFA Connect).
You can suggest content updates for the Alumni Hub by visiting this page and submitting the content you would like to see on the Alumni Hub.

The new Alumni Directory is a digital platform aimed at strengthening our alumni network by creating easier pathways for alumni to connect, collaborate, and build community as impact-oriented professionals. You can use the directory to search for alumni by their ed equity interests and affinities. Think of it as a virtual phone book of 38,000+ alumni in the network.
On the other hand, TFA Career Connect is the place to go for browsing / searching for jobs, talent, and organizations who are interested in hiring TFA alumni and corps members. When looking to establish career connections or explore new job opportunities, you can also use it to gain access to others in the network beyond fellow alumni, as corps members, staff members, and non-alumni recruiters / employer partners can all access TFA Career Connect as well.
The best thing about having access to both tools, is that you can start with one and then supplement it with the other, depending on your connecting needs!
The Alumni Directory is an online tool that allows Teach For America alumni to search and connect with other TFA alumni. All TFA alumni who have completed their two-year commitment can access and connect with other alumni via the Alumni Directory.
Verification
AmeriCorps service verification must be requested directly from AmeriCorps.
Alumni seeking verification of academic program completion for the purpose of certification should contact the institution that issued academic credits/credentials for verification.
Current corps members and alumni seeking verification of their employment for the purposes of a background check or Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) must contact their former employer directly.
TFA does not provide employment verification to corps members or alumni, as we are not the employer. In cases where a former employer no longer exists, alumni should reference the PSLF Help Tool for loan forgiveness. Alumni who served on TFA staff may contact Generalist (generalist@teachforamerica.org) or visit the PSLF Help Tool.

One Day
One Day Studio publishes editorial content that puts a spotlight on people and communities working to change systems that create barriers to equitable educations in our country. Key to that work is our commitment to uplift the voices of those most proximate to and affected by these systems. We tell these stories primarily through the work of TFA corps members, alums, and partner organizations.
One Day features original, reported stories in a variety of formats created by our staff of journalists, videographers and filmmakers, and podcast producers, as well as freelancers. We also publish opinion essays. Our stories are found in four topic areas: Top Issues, Ideas & Solutions, Policy & Advocacy, and Opinion.
Our stories can also be found in the One Day today monthly email newsletter and on Teach For America’s social media channels.
