Ignite fellows are not employees of TFA but do receive an education award for their service of $1000. Fellows will receive their financial award via direct deposit as a lump sum, pre-tax, after completing their Fellowship commitment (Dec/Jan for fall fellows, May for spring fellows). It is important to note that the amount of tax will vary depending on the individual's tax situation.
