"I gained my footing in this fight for educational equity during my time at North Miami Middle. Working alongside students, community members and TFA staff and leadership provided me with the mentors and peers I needed to thrive in this work. Thank you Teach For America — Miami-Dade and Los Angeles for supplying me with the training and support I needed to continue my work in my own stomping grounds of LA and to emerge in this fight for equity and justice as a member of our family at DaVinci RISE High School.
