Josue Tamarez Torres (Dallas-Fort Worth '11), a 5th grade bilingual math teacher at Annie Webb Blanton Elementary School, was selected out of 10,500 Dallas Independent School District teachers for this honor. Josue joins three other local TFA alumni who have been named teachers of the year in Dallas ISD and Fort Worth ISD in recent years.

This is testament to the hard work of Josue and his alumni peers, AND the dedication of our community supporters and partners like you who help strengthen our network.
