Teach For America Phoenix Partners With M3F

The annual Arizona music festival donates all of its proceeds to local nonprofits, and has raised more than $2 million to date. This year, TFA has been selected as one of the participating partners.

Teach For America Phoenix was thrilled to be selected as one of the partnering charities for the 2020 McDowell Mountain Music Festival (M3F). Taking place the first weekend of March 2020, this festival brings together music lovers from across Arizona for a weekend of fun and community, benefiting local charities.

Having just announced their 2020 lineup, M3F is expecting their biggest crowd yet. Listen to the music of Bon Iver, Rufus Du Sol, Stick Figure, The Growlers, Local Natives, and more while snacking on dishes from local food trucks and sipping craft cocktails. Take a break from the music to watch local artists producing live art to the sounds of the festival, or explore the marketplace for one-of-a-kind products from vendors located around the Valley.

Who doesn’t love enjoying good food and music, in beautiful spring weather? But this festival is about more than just the experience. For M3F, it’s about giving back through their “three C’s”: community, culture and charity. Since the festival’s launch in 2004, M3F has donated 100 percent of the proceeds to local nonprofit organizations, generating over $2 million to date.

This is an incredible opportunity for Teach For America Phoenix and we are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with Wespac on this year’s festival, widening our impact and supporting our ability to bring excellent teachers to low-income schools across the Valley. So mark your calendars for March 6 – 8, grab some friends, and head over to Margaret T Hance Park for a weekend of music, fun and community! We’ll see you there!
