Every day, the educators of Teach for America North Carolina meet the moment. They show up, dig in, work hard, and have fun. It is a declaration of their unwavering support that they continue to make space for each student, from every community, to have an equitable educational experience.

Since 1990, Teach For America has brought nearly 4,000 teacher leaders to pursue positive change in North Carolina impacting more than 250,000 students. Today, a network of 2,200 corps members and alumni are fighting for educational equity as teachers, principals, non-profit executives, and leaders in every industry. United in the unwavering belief in the potential students, they are reimagining education to realize the day when every child has an equal opportunity to learn, to grow, to influence, and to lead.

And we couldn’t do it without our dedicated supporters and partners who aid in our efforts to be agents of change and empower us to make a difference from the inside out. With impactful programming, effective fellowships, a strong alumni network, and passionate educators across our state, our network is making a difference.
