Teach For America Partners with Just Love Coffee to Launch New “Teachers Blend” Fundraiser

A portion of proceeds from Just Love Coffee's "Teachers Blend" will benefit Teach For America's efforts to provide excellent education opportunities for students across the country.

Nashville, TN,  December 3, 2024 – In celebration of Giving Tuesday, education nonprofit and leadership development organization Teach For America is proud to announce a year-long national fundraising partnership with Just Love Coffee Roasters, a for-profit organization dedicated to donating a portion of its profits to causes that improve lives.

Through a teacher-focused fundraising initiative, a portion of the sales from Just Love Coffee’s new “Teachers Blend” bags will help advance Teach For America’s mission to provide children nationwide with access to excellent educational opportunities. Available in retail stores and online, the "Teachers Blend" helps fund Teach For America’s work to build a stronger education system that empowers all students to thrive. By identifying, developing, and guiding exceptional, diverse leaders, Teach For America is committed to ensuring every child has the opportunity to achieve success in school and beyond.

Just Love Coffee, founded in 2009, has been committed to philanthropy from the outset, dedicating a portion of its sales to various nonprofit organizations. In its first year, the company raised $100,000 to support families in need, setting the foundation for its long-term charitable efforts. Over the years, Just Love Coffee has supported causes such as the American Cancer Society, Boys & Girls Clubs, Folds of Honor, and many others, with a focus on veterans, healthcare workers, children of first responders, and teachers.

"At Just Love Coffee, our mission has always been about more than just great coffee, it's about making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve. Partnering with Teach For America allows us to extend our support to educators who are doing the vital work of shaping the future, and we’re excited to be part of a movement that prioritizes educational equity for all children,” shared Rob Webb, Founder of Just Love Coffee Roasters.

In fact, it was the Webb families’ personal experience with adoption that inspired the mission. After adopting two children from Ethiopia, Rob recognized the financial hardships faced by adoptive families and saw an opportunity to combine their passion for coffee with their desire to help. This vision led to the creation of Just Love Coffee Roasters, which initially focused on supporting adoptive families.

"We are proud to partner with Just Love Coffee, a company whose values deeply align with our commitment to excellence in education for all children,” said Jemina Bernard, President & Chief Operating Officer at Teach For America. "Just Love Coffee’s mission to make a difference in local communities mirrors our own, and we are excited to launch ‘Teachers Blend’ as a way for people everywhere to support teachers and students alike."

Over the coming months, TFA and Just Love Coffee will work together to introduce a custom “Teachers Blend” bag as part of Just Love’s growing portfolio of cause coffees. By choosing “Teachers Blend,” consumers contribute directly to supporting classrooms, helping ensure that all students have access to an equitable, high-quality education.

By launching this partnership with Teach For America, Just Love Coffee reaffirms its dedication to giving back, especially to teachers—one of the company's long standing areas of philanthropic focus. "Teachers Blend" is the latest in Just Love Coffee’s series of cause-driven products, designed to benefit those who serve their communities. With Giving Tuesday marking the start of this exciting partnership, coffee lovers can now support both educators and students with every purchase of “Teachers Blend.”

“We’re thrilled to partner with Nashville-based Just Love Coffee, an organization that leads by example in fostering community engagement,” shared Teach For America Nashville-Chattanooga Executive Director Stephen Santellan. “Their dedication to supporting local causes and educators is truly inspiring, and we’re excited to collaborate on events that bring our alumni, teachers, and community members together. This partnership highlights the strength of cross-sector collaboration in advancing access to a quality education, and we are excited about the positive impact it will have in Nashville and beyond.”

The Teach For America and Just Love Coffee partnership launches on December 3, 2024, and “Teachers Blend” coffee is now available both in retail stores and online. For more information, please visit www.justlovecoffee.com/collections/cause-coffee.
