Looking for an internship where you’ll challenge inequity, elevate your leadership, and expand your network? Interested in exploring Teach For America and its approach towards reaching educational equity? Participate in this unique, hands-on summer opportunity through Teach For America.

Accelerate is a paid internship for current undergraduate juniors interested in jump-starting a career in social impact. Fellows join in the fight against educational inequity alongside TFA corps members and alumni by tackling community work that intersects with education.

Spend your summer in a TFA partner community, building relationships with other college changemakers, growing professionally, and contributing to work needed immediately alongside leaders in the social and private sectors. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to travel to an additional TFA region to further your leadership development.

Why Choose Accelerate?

  • TFA Offer: Opportunity to secure an offer to the Teach For America corps after completing the fellowship
  • Travel: Work in a Teach For America region, and travel to a separate Teach For America region for a unique leadership experience
  • Service: Contribute meaningfully to communities

  • Benefits: Compensation package that includes travel, housing, and competitive salary

During Accelerate, I became very in tune with the importance of place when it comes to educational equity work. When entering a community that you are not familiar with, it is extremely important to understand the way in which social, political, and economic systems work.
