The movement for educational equity is in full swing in Jacksonville. You'll join fellow corps members and alumni, as well as hundreds of other nonprofits, in working toward the goal of binging excellent educational opportunities to Jacksonville’s students.
In Jacksonville, you’ll find yourself choosing from a multitude of eclectic neighborhoods, many of which are filled with bikers and pedestrians enjoying the sunny afternoons. On weekends, you might find yourself lesson planning with friends at one of our numerous beautiful beaches before heading out to paddleboard or kayak, and you can also enjoy a variety of festivals, live music, art galleries, and performance art. Our corps members often engage in community service events and social clubs. However you choose to spend your time, you’ll be part of a tight-knit community of friends.

Neighborhood Highlights
Close to downtown and many schools we teach, Riverside offers an eclectic vibe along with historical homes. Many apartments, duplexes, and homes are available. Some areas are walkable and most are bike-friendly.
The Southside area is located in the middle of the majority of the neighborhoods in Jacksonville. The St. John’s Town Center along with numerous restaurants and shops are also located in Southside. This area is driver friendly.
The beaches of Jacksonville are not the closest to our schools, but the area provides a great living experience. Affordable for beach-living, the Jax beach area is mostly walkable and bike-friendly.
