
The Hawaiian archipelago is comprised of hundreds of islands spread over 1,500 miles, but its population of approximately 1.4 million people permanently inhabit only seven of the eight main Hawaiian islands. Our corps members teach in high need schools in four O‘ahu complex areas from Central O‘ahu to its Leeward Coast and three Hawai‘i Island complex areas serving all of the state's "Big Island."
