Eligibility Requirements
Teach For America Greater Philadelphia partners with University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and the Relay Graduate School of Education for certification and/or master’s programs. The GPA requirement is 3.0 for Penn and 2.85 for Relay (requires additional letter of recommendation).
All applicants must have proof of United States Citizenship.
Prior teaching certificates are accepted on a case-by-case basis. The corps member would need to determine reciprocity directly with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and then inform Teach For America of their next steps for licensure.
