Mary Vascellaro, a graduate of Brown University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, has an extensive background in retail buying and management, working for organizations such as Filene's and Lord and Taylor.

Having recently earned her Ed.M at Harvard Graduate School of Education, Education Policy and Management, Emily Blatter Boyer now serves as a senior director of talent acquisition for The College Board.

Josh Biber joined Teach For America as a 2004 Phoenix corps member where he taught 5th grade at Laveen Elementary School. In 2008, Josh took on the challenge of establishing the Massachusetts region—first, as director of new site development, then as founding executive director.

Ben always knew he wanted to give back to communities similar to the one he grew up in, outside of Tampa, FL. As a first-generation college students, he wanted to serve as a role model to young men after college.

After the corps, Jennifer saw for the first time the injustices facing others who shared her family’s legal, racial identity, and socioeconomic status. Today, Jennifer is committed to advocating for vulnerable populations.

Kenneth J. Levit is the Executive Director of the George Kaiser Family Foundation.

Sandhya says she wouldn’t be the businesswoman she is today if it weren’t for the four years she spent teaching at her TFA placement school. 

Femi Alese learned the value of vision setting to achieve measurable results in the corps. Today, Femi uses that same growth mindset of continuous reflection and improvement as a product manager.
