Joseph began his career as a 1992 Teach For America alumnus, and currently serves as Assistant General Counsel for the Entergy Corporation.

Alvin Abraham currently serves as the founding dean of the Dougherty Family College at the University of St. Thomas which welcomed its inaugural class of students in August 2017.

The first in his family to graduate from college, Phillip knows the value proposition of an undergraduate degree. He deeply believes in the potential of all students and is committed to expanding educational opportunities for low-income, first-generation, minority students. 

Tiffany Cuellar Needham is the executive director of Teach For America’s Houston region. She is a 2003 Houston alumna who began her career in education as a fifth grade teacher at Coop Elementary School in Houston ISD.

As the son of immigrants who grew up in a low-income community, Howard (Houston '10) knows the challenges one faces en route to higher education. After teaching high school in the corps, he's now using his leadership skills in the business sector.

As the first person in his family to graduate college, Oscar Romano was looking at a career in business before he joined the corps. Now, he serves as the chief operating officer for Blindster.

Carmen Perez's time spent with Teach For America made her a better storyteller for her career in journalism as a senior producer for Good Day Orlando.

Alum Annie Dotson took her experience in the classroom to a career in health, where she focuses her research on pregnancy and young children.
