All you do for students really adds up.
You know what it takes to lead your school in ways that provide quality education opportunities and outcomes to benefit your students, their families, and your community. Committed to learning coherence, we partner with you to:
Setting us apart other tutoring programs, we customize your Ignite program to focus on what matters most to your school.
Based on your goals for students, you choose a grade level and focus area for Ignite: elementary reading, middle school math, or post-secondary access.
We utilize your school’s curriculum and assessments for instruction, extending what you‘re already working on with students.
We partner directly with a veteran educator at your school to lead Ignite so that student groupings, learning objectives and pacing are customized to meet unique student needs.
Ignite is designed to be responsive to school schedules. Our program session times range from 30-65 minutes, from three to five days per week. Set the schedule that most meets your school‘s needs.
Choose the model that works for your goals. Students can either participate in Ignite in their classrooms. Typically, during the small group learning block, or students from different classrooms can participate in a designated location (such as the multipurpose room) during your school intervention time.
We’d love to partner with you to advance your school’s goals through customized small group learning. The first step is scheduling an initial conversation with one of our team members. We look forward to connecting! Get in touch with us.

Our commitment to educational opportunity for all students is at the heart of everything we do at Teach For America in Florida. We are a dynamic force for change, dedicated to ensuring that every student receives an excellent education.
With a presence in Jacksonville, Miami-Dade, and Central Florida (serving the Tampa Bay area and Orlando), our impact extends across the diverse and vibrant state of Florida. This journey has been marked by our unwavering commitment to transforming the educational landscape and empowering future generations.
Teach For America made its debut in Miami-Dade in 2003, driven by the shared vision of community members who united to demand equal access to quality education for every student. Since then, we have expanded our reach, first to Jacksonville in 2008 and later to the Central Florida regions in 2015.
In Jacksonville, where southern charm meets coastal allure, Teach For America is more than a hub for exceptional education leaders. It’s a tight-knit, vibrant network of alumni leaders, corps members, and fellows, grounded in our mission to provide all students with an excellent education and a future filled with possibility.
Miami–Dade is a warm and vibrant community, thriving with diversity, culture, and possibility. We are a community of innovative educators, alumni leaders, and fellows who are creating opportunities for all students in Miami-Dade.
From the picturesque Gulf Coast to the bustling heart of the Sunshine State, corps members and alumni leaders across Central Florida are shaping a brighter future and fostering positive change for students. Tampa Bay offers opportunities to make an impact through the Corps and the One Florida Alumni Educator Fellowship. Orlando offers opportunities for Teach For America alumni to make an impact through the One Florida Alumni Educator Fellowship.
