Salaries range from $33,000 to $42,000 for new teachers in Delaware.

The hiring process is coordinated by the region, but corps members are ultimately hired independently by local schools or districts. Corps members are required to obtain their master's through Relay Graduate School of Education. The cost of this program is not covered by Teach For America.

Moving Costs

Most houses and apartments will require an initial deposit of the first month's rent. Rent is typically about $900 for a one-bedroom and $1,000-$1,600 for a home with multiple bedrooms.
