PHOENIX, Sept. 12, 2026—Teach For America (TFA) Phoenix, an educational non-profit that cultivates and sustains a network of educators and leaders committed to serving students and schools across the region, recently welcomed Russell Goldstein to its regional board of directors. With more than 20 years of experience advising individuals, non-profit organizations, and foundations, Goldstein brings deep expertise in philanthropy, governance, sustainability, and strategies that strengthen community outcomes.

As a board member, Goldstein will collaborate with leaders from the civic, philanthropic, and business communities to expand the educator pipeline and help advance stronger outcomes for students across Arizona.

Goldstein serves as Managing Director and Institutional Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank, where he advises philanthropists, foundations, and nonprofit organizations on strategy, governance, and mission-driven investment approaches. He holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), and Chartered SRI Counselor™ (CSRIC®) designations and is a certified BoardSource Governance Trainer.

He earned a master's degree in Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. focused on the intersection of capital and climate. Goldstein is also a graduate of the Social Impact Strategy program at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy & Practice.

A dedicated community leader, Goldstein serves as a National Board Member of SeedSpot and on the advisory boards of National Park Trust and Phoenix Fashion Week. He also serves on the Intentional Endowments Network Working Group on Policy and Governance and is a past president of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Arizona.
