Team Teach For America

We are excited to announce that Teach For America has been named an official Charity Partner for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.

2026 TCS New York City Marathon Details

The 2026 TCS New York City Marathon will take place on Sunday, November 1st, 2026. The course is 26.2 miles long and the course takes runners through the five boroughs of NYC. To learn more about the course and what to expect the day of the race, visit the NYRR Marathon website here.

Teach For America Team Members will receive the following benefits:

• Guaranteed entry to the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon on November 1, 2026
• A personal fundraising page created by TFA staff for your supporters to donate directly to your goal, and staff support in the fundraising process
• Invitations to local events to foster community and deepen your connection with our students and the work TFA is doing in NYC

Fundraising Requirement

​Each runner is required to raise a minimum of $3,500 for the organization in honor of Teach For America’s 35th anniversary and pay the registration fee to enter the Marathon ($269.66 for NYRR members, $333.11 for non-members). If this fundraising goal is not met by the day of the Marathon (November 1st, 2026), we will require that runners personally fulfill their remaining balance.

The funds raised through this partnership will support Teach For America’s mission to expand educational opportunities for all students. To enter your name for consideration to join Team Teach For America, please fill out this form by March 16th.
