Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Illinois – Loyola Law waives their application fee for Teach For America corps members and alumni. In addition, one ChildLaw Fellowship is reserved for a qualified Teach For America alumnus. This $15,000 scholarship is prorated over three years. $4,725 in tuition assistance is also available for up to six qualified Teach For America alumni who have matching AmeriCorps funding available. Tulane University Law School, Louisiana – TLS awards a minimum of a minimum of $30,000 in scholarship funding, $5,000 per semester, to each Teach For America alumnus accepted. All applicants will also be considered for additional scholarship funding, up to full-tuition, based on the merits of their complete application file. University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, Arizona – Arizona Law offers a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. In addition, they waive their application fee for corps members and alumni. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

The University of Chicago Law School, Illinois – The University of Chicago Law School provides $30,000 scholarships for up to five qualified Teach For America alumni annually and provides one $35,000 scholarship for a qualified alumnus/a pursuing a joint JD/MPP with the Harris School of Public Policy. University of Southern California Gould School of Law, California- USC Law offers a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. In addition, they waive their application fee for corps members and alumni. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

University of St. Thomas School of Law, Minnesota – St. Thomas Law automatically rewards Teach For America alumni their service scholarship which covers 20% of tuition. Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, Maryland – Carey Business School considers Teach For America corps members and alumni for their Dean’s scholarship which ranges in value from one-quarter to full tuition and is renewable for two years. Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts – The Sloan School annually offers two $10,000 merit-based Teach For America Emerging Leaders scholarships to their full-time MBA program. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York - NYU Stern waives their application fee for corps members and alumni. In addition, they provide merit-based scholarship awards ranging from $10,000 to full tuition to admitted applicants who meet the merit-based criteria. Saint Louis University John Cook School of Business, Missouri - The John Cook School of Business offers a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business, Louisiana – Freeman offers a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. In addition, they waive their application fee for corps members and alumni. Corps members, alumni, and staff may apply for the Social Enterprise Fellows program which awards partial to full tuition fellowship and the Social Service or Entrepreneurship Fellowships which awards a tuition waiver plus assistantship with the Levy-Rosenblum Institute. Corps members, alumni, and staff receive a 25% tuition reduction to the evening (PMBA) program. Applicants must apply while working with Teach For America and intend to study while actively working within schools, education, or the nonprofit sector. University of Delaware -Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics, Delaware – Lerner offers a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. In addition, partial scholarships are available for qualified candidates. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

University of Hawai’i at Manoa Shidler College of Business, Hawai'I – Shidler waives their application fee for corps members and alumni. In addition, Teach For America alumni are considered for merit-based Shidler International Excellence scholarships which range from one-quarter to full tuition. University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, Iowa – Tippie offers a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. In addition, they waive their application fee for corps members and alumni. Alumni are also eligible for the AmeriCorps Service Distinction Award. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business, Michigan – Ross waives their application fee for corps members and alumni. In addition, they consider Teach For America alumni for merit scholarships and need-based tuition assistance. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, North Carolina – UNC waives their application fee for corps members and alumni. In addition, they offer the Teach For America Scholarship Program which provides at least two scholarships annually. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

University of Rochester Simon Business School, New York – Simon provides five scholarships of at least $20,000 a year to Teach For America alumni. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

University of San Diego School of Business, California - USD waives their application fee for corps members and alumni. In addition, they provide special merit-based scholarships for Teach For America alumni accepted into their full-time MBA program, covering up to 70% of tuition. For the part-time Professional MBA program scholarships cover up to 30% of total tuition. Graduate Assistantships are also offered for outstanding applicants. University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business, Minnesota – Opus waives their application fee for corps members and alumni. Any admitted applicant to the full-time MBA program who has completed Teach For America is guaranteed an $8,000 per year renewable two-year scholarship. The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, Texas – McCombs waives their application fee for corps members and alumni. In addition, they provide one $30,000 merit-based scholarship allocated over two years. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Virginia – Darden offers a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. In addition, need-based scholarships are offered to Teach For America alumni. One half-tuition scholarship, renewable over two years, is available to Teach For America alumni. Washington University in St. Louis Olin School of Business, Missouri – Olin offers a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. In addition, need-based scholarships are offered to Teach For America alumni. Special scholarships for Teach For America alumni ranging from half to full tuition are available. Willamette University Atkinson Graduate School of Management, Oregon – Atkinson offers $5,000 to alumni and corps members who enroll in their full-time MBA program within two years of completing their corps commitment. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

Yale University School of Management, Connecticut - Yale SOM waives their application fee for corps members and alumni. Carnegie Mellon Heinz School of Public Policy and Management, Pennsylvania – Heinz offers Teach For America alumni a $20,000 scholarship, renewable for up to two years. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

Clark University Department of International Development, Community, and Environment, Massachusetts – Clark offers at least one tuition-free fellowship to a qualified Teach For America alumnus. This fellowship can be applied to any of the four IDCE graduate programs. Any alumnus admitted into a Master’s degree program at IDCE will receive tuition assistance for up to two years, $10,000 annually. Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, New York – Columbia provides up to four $5,000 annual scholarships to Teach For America alumni. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

Cornell University Institute for Public Affairs, New York – Cornell waives their applications fee for corps members and alumni. In addition, they reduce tuition by 50% for Teach For America alumni.  Contact Judy Metzgar with questions and prior to submitting your application.

Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy, North Carolina – Duke guarantees a minimum of $14,000 annually in tuition assistance through the Teach For America Public Policy Scholarship. Students pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy as part of a joint-degree program will be awarded $12,000 for their first year only. This assistance comes in the form of a tuition fellowship and a payment for a teaching or research assistantship. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions. 

George Washington University Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, District of Columbia – GWU considers Teach For America alumni for a $5,000 finical aid award for the Master of Public Policy or Master of Public Administration programs. One-year deferrals are also granted to corps members and alumni. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy, District of Columbia – Georgetown waives their application fee for corps members and alumni and gives special consideration for scholarships. In addition, they offer a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government, Massachusetts – The Kennedy School offers a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. In addition, they have established the Teach For America Public Service Fellowship. This full-tuition fellowship will be awarded to an exiting corps member or Teach for America alumnus who exemplifies the Teach for America mission. As a demonstration of his/her commitment to Public Service, the successful applicant must be professionally employed in the public sector, broadly defined, for three years upon graduation. If the three-year commitment is not met, the recipient must repay the fellowship. Students are eligible to apply for the fellowship during the initial admissions application process through the online application for financial assistance. Illinois State University, Stevenson Center for Community and Economic Development, Illinois -  Any Teach For America alumnus admitted to the Fellows Program will receive a 100% tuition waiver over the two-year program and a graduate assistantship with stipend in year one, followed by a paid professional internship in year two. The full financial package is currently worth up to $57,000. The Fellows Program is interdisciplinary, relevant, and challenging, with a unique combination of benefits. Qualified TFA alumni receive special consideration in the admissions process, and may pursue a Master’s degree in applied economics, anthropology, kinesiology and recreation, political science, or sociology, each with an emphasis on applied community and economic development. Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana – Indiana University offers a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. In addition, they grant a 6 credit-hour reduction award valued at over $6,300 in addition to the waiver of the experiential component of our degrees. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions

Johns Hopkins University The Paul Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), District of Columbia – SAIS waives their application fee for corps members and alumni. In addition, $5,000 fellowships are available to corps members and alumni admitted to the MA program and renewable in the second year, provided the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and full-time status. Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, California – Monterey gives priority consideration to corps members and alumni for merit-based scholarships ranging from approximately $6,000-$16,000. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

The New School Robert J. Milano Graduate School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy, New York – The New School provides $5,000 in tuition assistance for up to two years. In addition, they consider alumni for other scholarships and waive their  application fee. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions 

The Ohio State University John Glenn School of Public Affairs, Ohio – The Glenn School offers a two-year deferral for students who are admitted and choose to join Teach For America. In addition, they waive their application fee for corps members and alumni. Five course credits counting toward a degree are awarded to alumni in recognition of their Teach For America experience. Pepperdine University School of Public Policy, California – Pepperdine waives their application fee to the Masters of Public Policy program for corps members and alumni. In addition, alumni who meet the admission and merit-based criteria for acceptance to will receive a scholarship award of $10,000. The scholarship is renewable the second year, if the student is in good standing and maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Contact the Office of Admissions with questions.

Program provides graduates with the tools to impact education on a larger level, be it education policy, education management, or the application of technology in education. Students earn both degrees in two years as well as initial administrative certifications in Missouri and Illinois. In the first year of the program, students are able to work full-time and attend classes in the School of Education and Public Service. In the second year, students are fully immersed in business curriculum, participate in education and public service internships, and study abroad (cost included in the program). Additionally, graduate assistantships and substantial scholarships are available for Teach For America alumni–many pay as little as $25,000 for the entire program.

TFA Tulsa corps members will have the opportunity to earn up to six credit hours of graduate transfer credit for the competencies they acquire at the TFA Summer Training Institute for the following programs: Master of Education or Master of Teaching Arts degree programs through the TU School of Urban Education and Master of Arts degree program through the Department of Educational Studies. These Summer Training Institute transfer hours are only available after students have earned at least the same number of graduate credit hours while enrolled at TU.
