These schools are in addition to the partnerships that many TFA regions hold with local graduate schools that provide training and courses to current corps members.

Louisiana State University

School & Systems Leadership

  • The TFA LSU partnership allows participants (2nd year SLA CMs and alumni in their 1st year of alumnihood) to earn a higher degree in the program of their choosing with free tuition, only paying the fees that come along with their program (program fees, books, etc.).
  • All programs located at the Baton Rouge LSU campus are eligible for the tuition exemption except for those offered online and those through the law, medical, and veterinary schools.
  • While the MBA and Executive MBA are eligible, the exemption does not cover the full cost of tuition.
  • Participants in those programs will have to pay some money for tuition out of pocket.
  • Application fee waived for corps members and alumni
  • One-year deferral
  • All applicants to the Donovan Urban Teaching Scholars program are automatically considered for scholarship aid, including Dean’s Awards and Named Scholarships & Fellowships
