Theresa Kennelly Mooney joined Teach For America as a corps member after earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan. She taught tenth grade English at Carver Vo-Tech High School in Northwest Baltimore. During this time, Theresa completed a Master’s in Education at Johns Hopkins University.
Following the corps, Theresa worked for the New York City Department of Education as a special education analyst. After relocating to Phoenix in 2013, Theresa joined TFA’s staff. She first worked as Phoenix’s Manager of Public Partnerships and then joined the national Marketing team in 2015.
