Thank You For Your Support

Teach For America Indianapolis Region is so grateful for our existing supporters. All gifts help our effort to recruit, select, train and support corps members and alumni.

Fueled by TFA's pipeline of diverse, exceptional leaders, like Carole Wilson, principal at IPS #61, and Myke Spencer, teacher at T.C. Howe Community School, One Day is truly possible in Indianapolis.

Partner Spotlight

Teach For America – Indianapolis has worked closely with Eli Lilly and Company since our founding in 2008. Most recently, the Eli Lilly and Company Foundation has committed to support Teach For America with a gift of $500,000 over two years, the largest corporate gift that Teach For America – Indianapolis has received in our region’s history. With the support of Lilly, Teach For America will increase the number of corps members we recruit and train in Indianapolis, including the number of corps members teaching in STEM subjects.  Teach For America is grateful to Eli Lilly and Company for their commitment to improving public education in our city!

Event Spotlight

On November 2, 2013, we hosted our first ever gala. The purpose of the event was to highlight the work of TFA in Indy, celebrate the work that our partner organizations are doing, inspire attendees, and raise money to support our work. There were over 500 people in attendance including, donors, community leaders, corps members, and alumni. The evening served as a source of inspiration and a reminder of our deep commitment to students and families here in Indianapolis.
