Bria Venable

His dream was to make mankind equal

And any shape or form

Gathered everyone together just so we can hear his voice of wisdom and courage to speak in-front of thousands to lead by example oh our ancestors wouldn’t be prouder than to see one of our very own making a change speaking peace into the unity and being a man that stood his ground oh he needs to be celebrated all year round

He’s not the only one I can say

There's many that contributed but thank you

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for being the voice of the future and unity.

Bria Venable is a senior at Crispus Attucks High School and a student in 2019 Indianapolis corps member MyLa Franklin's English class.
