Richard Pettey graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University with a B.S./B.A. in Finance and Spanish before joining the 2013 Teach For America corps in Mississippi, where he taught high school Spanish. Most recently, Richard served as the Regional Operations Director for RePublic Schools in Jackson, Mississippi. Prior to this, Richard worked as the Founding Director of Operations at Reimagine Prep, where he managed all day-to-day and start-up business operations of the first charter school in the state of Mississippi. Richard is also a co-founder of Brydge4Schools—an EdTech product that aims to improve education by better connecting parents to their kids’ classrooms and academic content.
