Conor Sheehey was born in White Bear Lake, MN and raised in Baltimore, MD. Conor attended high school at Loyola Blakefield, a Jesuit all-boys school that instilled in him a passion for education and mentorship. After studying English at the University of Virginia as a Jefferson Scholar, Conor carried this passion into the workplace, serving as a Teach For America New York corps member at Discovery High School, a district school in the Northwest Bronx, where he opted to stay on for a third year. Having earned his M.A. in Teaching and a Dual Certificate in Special Education at the Relay Graduate School of Education, Conor seeks to apply lessons learned in the classroom and at graduate school to pressing problems in all areas of educational policy.
