Ivel Posada Martinez is a 2014 graduate of Harvard College where he completed a joint degree in social studies and philosophy with a focus on constitutional theory. He served as the Science Department Chair for the Henderson Inclusion School in Boston as a 2014 Teach for America corps member. More recently, Ivel is a 2017 graduate of the Yenching Academy of Beijing University, where he completed a Master's of History degree in China studies with a focus on international relations, ancient Chinese history, and Chinese involvements in the Western Hemisphere. While in Beijing, Ivel also served as the Chairman of the Yenching Global Symposium, one of the most competitive international conferences for young global leaders. He looks forward to learning more about the workings of Capitol Hill and is excited to explore D.C. culture more generally.
