Ivel Posada Martinez is a 2014 graduate of Harvard College where he completed a joint degree in Social Studies and Philosophy with a focus on constitutional theory. He was a 2014 Teach For America Boston Corps Member where he served as a the Science Department Chair for the Henderson K-12 Inclusion School in Dorchester. More recently, Ivel is a 2017 graduate of the Yenching Academy of Beijing University, where he completed a Master’s Degree in China Studies with a focus on international relations, ancient Chinese history, and gender studies. While in China, Ivel further served as the Chairman of the Yenching Global Symposium, one of the most competitive international conferences for young global leaders. He enjoys recreational reading, studying rhetoric, and keeping up-to-date on the latest happenings in education policy.
