Coley Williams, a 2006 Los Angeles alumna, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and registered art therapist in San Francisco. She also works in conjunction with Teach for America–Los Angeles in the capacity of mental health consultant and facilitates process groups with TFA corps members as a means of wellness intervention. Recently, she co-founded Level Therapy, a startup that makes therapy accessible by providing sessions with licensed clinicians at any location through a mobile app.
"I train each of our therapists about the unique challenges that are part of the Teach For America experience," she says. "And my hope is that Level Therapy will allow you to take good care of yourself without jumping through the hoops of finding and accessing help all on your own." Level Therapy would like to extend a 20 percent discount to all current corps members and TFA alumni; please use the code tfamhm.
Coley earned a B.A. in Spanish at Wake Forest University and a master's degree in marriage and family therapy with a specialty in clinical art therapy from Loyola Marymount University.
