Claire (Washington ‘14) grew up in Bellevue, Wash., before moving to California for her undergraduate degree from the University of Redlands. There she studied international relations and played D3 women’s lacrosse. She then moved back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest to complete her TFA corps years and do some hiking. She remains at her placement school, Chief Kamiakin Elementary School and continues to finish her masters in education at University of Washington. Teaching and the teaching community in South Central Washington continues to bring light into her life.
