In classrooms, schools, school systems, and communities across the country, Teach For America’s alumni are working to ensure all children have the opportunities they deserve.
We honor and celebrate alumni leadership and contributions towards the goal of achieving “one day” in our lifetimes through various awards, fellowships and programs.
Awards highlight the diverse accomplishments of inspiring educators to the broader community.
Fellowships and programs provide the necessary skills, professional development, and relationship-building experiences to prepare alumni for specific roles in education. We work with experts to develop fellowships based on the alum’s interests and the communities’ needs.
Selection is based on skills, experience, and demonstration of our core values: Diversity, Transformational Change, Leadership, Team, and Respect and Humility.
An overview of each award, program, and fellowship is provided below, along with links to learn more.
Details on timelines for the 2016-2017 awards, fellowships, and programs will be added in the fall. Please check back then for more information.
