Thrive: Building a Strong Mind-Body Connection
On-Demand - View anytime
Our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and attitudes can positively or negatively affect our biological functioning, meaning our minds can affect how healthy our bodies are! What we do with our physical body (what we eat, how much we exercise, even our posture) can impact our mental state, positively or negatively. This results in a complex interrelationship between our minds and bodies. Join us as we evaluate the relationship between mind and body and discuss the ways we can build a stronger connection-- allowing us to be healthier, stronger advocates for our communities, each other, and ourselves.

Tunji Adebayo
Tunji Adebayo is a nationally respected and recognized educator with a passion for people and leveraging his background in nutrition, fitness, and education to create a global, holistic health movement for underrepresented and underserved communities. He believes that health is not only a matter of the body, but also of the mind and community. It was through his work as a teacher for middle and high school science, health, and life skills, that he connected with his passion. Tunji desired to be a motivational speaker after graduating college, but teaching made him realize that speaking alone was not enough to make the impact he desired in these communities that he loved. A pathway was needed for people to become the healthiest versions of themselves.
Tunji earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at the University of Georgia and a Master of Arts in Education at Loyola Marymount University. He is a certified personal trainer and a public speaker; he has been working both throughout Georgia and Los Angeles since 2012. Tunji received his Plant-Based Nutrition Certification from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and is a practitioner and advocate for a whole food plant based diet. Tunji is based in Atlanta and can be contacted RHYMELLC@gmail.com
