Leaders as Coalition Builders: Sustaining Self and Leveraging Networks to Build Equitable and Excellent Schools.
The Collective’s 2018 School Leaders of Color (SLOC) Conference brings together school and school system leaders of color for community-building and exceptional professional development. Conference attendees can engage in the following learning opportunities:
- Engage in discourse on critical issues facing the education community right now, especially those impacting leaders of color in school communities. These conversations are not happening anywhere else with only people of color, and this space is unique.
- Receive professional development on effective school and systems-level leadership while gaining knowledge and resources to continue to lead your schools.
- Collaborate, learn, and create community with fellow attendees, allowing you to learn, heal, and draw power from this network.
