In collaboration with One Day Studio at Teach For America, Cine Las Americas presents a selection of short films produced by One Day Studio, TFA corps members, community partners and/or youth around the country, all of which contribute to and invite dialogues about educational equity. This series of short films complements Cine Las Americas' mission of promoting cross-cultural understanding by foregrounding youth and educator voices in support of culturally responsive educational opportunities for all.

These films cover a wide range of student and educator experiences and perspectives, and invite conversation about various topics including migration, detention, death and suicide, dispossession, alcholism, and police violence, which may be sensitive for some viewers. Overall, the films celebrate resilience and the human spirit in adversity and in triumph.
