Full-time Academic Coaches serve in middle schools throughout the Minneapolis Public School district providing academic support for English language learners. Members build one-on-one relationships with students in order to support their academic and developmental needs.

City Year is an education-focused AmeriCorps program that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year, aimed at keeping students in school and on-track to graduation. AmeriCorps members serve full-time in schools during the academic year as tutors, mentors, and role models.

You’ll help students by providing academic support, delivering behavior and attendance coaching, and encouraging engagement to promote a positive school climate. You’ll be assigned to a diverse team of 8-15 young adults and will remain with that team throughout the year.

DART is a network of 22 diverse and multi-faith community organizations fighting for racial and economic justice in the midwest and southeastern United States. Its Teaching Residency is designed for recent college graduates and career-changers who are looking for an innovative pathway into education. The program aims to improve educational outcomes for East Harlem students and similar communities in greater New York.

Extraordinary Ventures, Inc. is a nonprofit that starts and manages businesses that employ adults with autism and developmental disabilities. Extraordinary Ventures seeks applicants for a two-year entrepreneurship position who want to learn how to manage a real business and help solve a national problem—high unemployment for adults with developmental disabilities.

Great Oaks Tutor Corps is a selective cohort of recent college graduates who deliver at least two hours of individualized instruction to every student every day. This academic model was inspired by the Match School of Boston, which has a proven track record of success in preparing students for college success using the Tutor Corps model.

Great Oaks seeks 270 full-time AmeriCorps Tutors each year to lead small group instruction in Math and English Language Arts.

KEYS members dedicate their energy to creating brighter futures for youth throughout Allegheny County.

SAGA Innovations is dedicated to transforming public education by driving the expansion of intensive daily tutoring. The SAGA Fellows program is a full-time, in-school professional math tutoring opportunity. Unlike traditional tutoring that happens outside of school hours, SAGA tutoring occurs as a stand-alone class period and is built into the regular school day as an elective course for credit.
