Resources for Employers and Graduate Schools

panel

Our corps members and alumni are smart, goal-oriented individuals who have a proven track record of achievement and leadership. After their two-year teaching commitment, our alumni work in many fields including education, policy, law, medicine, business, and the nonprofit sector, and assume leadership roles in their professional and civic lives.

There are several ways for employers and graduate schools to reach interested Teach For America corps members and alumni.

Post on the Job and Opportunity Board
Log into the Job and Opportunity Board, or JOB, to post full-time and part-time job openings, internships, grant opportunities, fellowship announcements, and graduate school information for Teach For America alumni and corps members. You can also review resumes of alumni who have expressed interest in the types of roles you are looking to fill.

Feature Opportunities in our Career Newsletters
Teach For America distributes career newsletters in teaching, school leadership, private sector careers, social entrepreneurship, politics, and policy. Each month, we feature opportunities in our career newsletters that align with the diverse interests and needs of our alumni. If you are interested in having your opportunities featured in our newsletters, post them on JOB and then email clc@teachforamerica.org. Please note that we cannot feature all the opportunities that come our way.

Establish a Graduate School Partnership
Some of the benefits our graduate school offer to corps members and alumni include:

  • Two-year deferral
  • Application fee waivers
  • Scholarship money or other special considerations for Teach For America alumni

If you would like to establish a partnership with Teach For America, email clc@teachforamerica.org and include which benefits you're interested in offering, the name of your school, a contact name, title, e-mail address, website, and phone number.

Learn how other organizations are partnering with us on our graduate school and employer partnerships page and about our alumni leadership initiatives.
