Neighborhood Highlight

Midtown Sacramento offers a perfect blend of small town charm with its tree-lined streets and urban sophistication with an active downtown district. Living Here
Soon after Sacramento was founded in the mid-19th century, the discovery of gold nearby propelled the city on growth trajectory that continues today. In addition to being California’s state capital, Sacramento is a short two-hour drive from both the San Francisco Bay Area and the mountains, skiing, hiking and water sports of Lake Tahoe. In and around Sacramento, residents enjoy fishing, rafting, boating and more on the region’s lakes and rivers. The city also boasts more than 2,000 acres of parks, creating even more opportunities for locals to take advantage of the region’s warm, dry climate.
No matter where corps members choose to live, anywhere in the city is accessible within 15 minutes, leaving all types of entertainment, dining, and recreation close by.
