Thank You For Your Support

Teach For America Phoenix Region is so grateful for our existing supporters. All gifts help our effort to recruit, select, train and support corps members and alumni.

Partner Spotlight

Helios Education Foundation is focused on creating a high-expectations, college-bound culture in Arizona and Florida that improves the academic performance of students, with an emphasis on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). By working with key partners like Teach For America, the Foundation is helping strengthen and transform the education system while improving student success in postsecondary education.

Event Spotlight

Teach For America – Phoenix’s annual Meet the Teacher event provides all Sponsor A Teacher supporters with the opportunity to meet and mingle with current corps members. At this year’s event, which was held on October 24th at El Chorro, corps member Kristen Metherd and her student Shayla shared how Teach For America has impacted their lives. Thanks to the incredible support of the Phoenix community, 267 of Phoenix’s 300 corps members are sponsored this 2012-13 academic year.
