Thank You For Your Support

Teach For America New Mexico Region is so grateful for our existing supporters. All gifts help our effort to recruit, select, train and support corps members and alumni.

Teach For AmericaNew Mexico is proud to be supported by the New Mexico Commission for Community Volunteerism

Our New Mexico corps members are also AmeriCorps members, connected to a national service movement and eligible to receive an education award after successfully completing each year of teaching.

Partner Spotlight

Gadsden Independent School District is Teach For America’s biggest placement partner in southern New Mexico. Located on the border between Texas and Mexico, GISD is thinking innovatively about how to build a climate that promotes student achievement. Teachers and administrators in GISD are building strong community partnerships, holding students to high expectations, and celebrating success--and Teach For America is proud to be one of the district’s newest partners.

Event Spotlight

Each year Teach For America - New Mexico co-hosts the Four Corners Education Summit, which brings together students, teachers, parents, principals, superintendents, tribal leaders, and community members from New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah to build momentum for positive change.
