Teach For America Placement Schools
Where Corps Members Teach
The Mississippi Delta region stretches east to west from Holly Spring, Mississippi, to El Dorado, Arkansas and north to south from Blytheville, Arkansas to Hazlehurst, Mississippi, flanking the Mississippi River along the way. Despite being one of the largest physical regions, corps members – who teach at all grade levels from pre-K through twelfth grade – are clustered near each other in contiguous districts or in nearby towns like Helena, AR, Clarksdale MS, Marks, MS, and so on to provide the support and camaraderie vital to a great experience.
