Thank You For Your Support

Teach For America Hawai‘i Region is so grateful for our existing supporters. All gifts help our effort to recruit, select, train and support corps members and alumni.

Partner Spotlight

Teach For America - Hawai'i is proud to be sponsored by the Hawai'i Commission on National and Community Service

Our Hawai'i corps members are also AmeriCorps members, connected to a national service movement and eligible to receive an education award after successfully completing each year of teaching.

Partner Spotlight

Over the last six years, we have seen the tremendous impact our corps members can have in their classrooms and communities. We aspire to expand that impact and serve more students across the State of Hawai‘i in the coming year. With our sights set on expanding our corps size, we are excited to announce our 100 for 100 campaign . We are aspiring for 100 sponsors for 100 corps members by recruiting new sponsors and increasing contributions. By increasing our incoming corps to more than 100, we will have the potential to reach 13,500 students across our state. When we succeed in our goal, one in every seven students in our placement districts will be taught by a Teach For America corps member. Click here to donate now

Event Spotlight

At the Sponsor A Teacher event, supporters of Teach For America’s efforts in Hawai’i had the opportunity to meet teachers, students, and parents who have been impacted by Teach For America.  With their support, Teach For America – Hawai‘i has recruited, trained, and supported over 250 corps members who work tirelessly to provide our keiki with the quality educational opportunities they deserve. For many corps members, their impact does not end in the classroom, as they take on leadership positions, start new school programs, coach student sports teams, and volunteer with community organizations.
