Thank You For Your Support

Teach For America Greater Philadelphia Region is so grateful for our existing supporters. All gifts help our effort to recruit, select, train and support corps members and alumni.

Partner Spotlight

KIPP Philadelphia Charter School opened in 2003 and expanded to KIPP Philadelphia Schools, a network of open-enrollment, college-preparatory public charter schools including kindergarten through second grade at KIPP Philadelphia Elementary Academy, grades fifth through eighth at KIPP Philadelphia Charter School and KIPP West Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School, and grades 9-11 at KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy. Marc Mannella (Baltimore ‘98) founded KIPP Philadelphia Charter School and served as its school leader for five years before becoming CEO of the network.

Event Spotlight

Deborah and Dennis Glass are the proud parents of Teach For America alumna Celia Glass (Milwaukee ‘09). Recently, they hosted the “It Takes a Village” event for Teach For America families in our region, where parents of new corps members, current corps members, and alumni had the opportunity to connect and build a supportive network of knowledgeable, invested peers. In addition, Deborah and Dennis have been deeply engaged with their sponsored teacher, even setting up a tour of Lincoln Financial Field for his students. Thank you to Deborah and Dennis for your incredible championship of Teach for America - Greater Philadelphia.
