Thank You For Your Support

Teach For America Detroit Region is so grateful for our existing supporters. All gifts help our effort to recruit, select, train and support corps members and alumni.

Partner Spotlight

In April of 2012, Teach For America – Detroit partnered with Motor City Blight Busters to help transform a block of abandoned homes into a space for an urban farm. Teach For America is honored and humbled to partner with numerous organizations throughout Detroit that continue to inspire and fuel the revitalization of our great city.

Event Spotlight

During the 2011-2012 school year, Congressman Hansen Clarke visited Crockett High School as part of Teach For America Week. This visit was especially meaningful for the Congressman, who grew up near the school and now represents that same community in Congress.
