Partner Spotlight

The Noble Street Charter School network currently serves 6,500 students from more than 70 Chicago communities at 10 campuses across the city.  Established in 1999, the Noble model emphasizes strong leadership, meaningful use of data, and accountability.  To date, these efforts have proven successful as all seven Noble high schools with high school juniors who took the ACT ranked in the top ten of non-selective high schools for academic performance.

Event Spotlight

The Teach For America - Chicago Gala is an integral part of regional development.  Hosted by regional board members, the Gala is the largest fundraising event in the Chicago region.  In 2011, Gala chairs Randy & Evie Lyons and Mike & Lindey Keiser raised $950,000.  Students, corps members, staff members, and community partners contribute to Gala programming including Chicago Public Schools CEO, Jean-Claude Brizard, and Teach For America Founder, Wendy Kopp.
