Thank You For Your Support

Teach For America - Bay Area is grateful for the stewardship and generosity of our supporters. All gifts help our effort to recruit, select, train, and support corps members and alumni.

Partner Spotlight

On March 20, 2012 over 500 education advocates and leaders from across the Bay Area came together to raise $1.6 million to support Teach For America's efforts to expand educational opportunities in area public schools. HP was the lead sponsor of the benefit, and HP CEO and Teach for America board member Meg Whitman addressed attendees. "The tireless work of Teach For America corps members every day is making the difference, one child at a time," remarked Whitman. "Of course, business can be part of the solution here too, and HP has helped to bring greater attention and technology resources to the achievement gap in science, technology, engineering, and math."

Event Spotlight

Teach For America’s first annual day of service at Daniel Webster Elementary School was a resounding success. Corps members, alumni, and staff worked alongside teachers, families, and students to clean and beautify the school for the end of the year celebrations.
