Thank You For Your Support

Teach For America Appalachia Region is so grateful for our existing supporters. All gifts help our effort to recruit, select, train and support corps members and alumni.

Partner Spotlight

The Appalachian Service Project  (“ASP” to locals) provides a great outlet for corps members to get involved in community service by helping make homes “warmer, safer, drier.”

Event Spotlight

Each April, the East Kentucky Leadership Foundation convenes their annual conference to discuss advancing the Appalachian economy, issues in rural education and healthcare, and the role each citizen plays to improve their community. Like Teach For America, the East Kentucky Leadership Foundation is focused on developing leaders who will make a sizeable impact in Appalachia in the years to come. The EKLF conference is an incredible opportunity to meet other eastern Kentuckians who are passionate about their region and who want to do whatever they can to ensure the future is more prosperous than the past.
