We are entering our 20th year in our mission to eliminate educational inequity, which is the reality that where a child is born determine the quality of his or her education and life prospects. We've grown from 3,500 teachers to 8,200 teachers in just the past five years, enabling us to reach over 500,000 students. While we have a way to go to reach the 14 million children living in poverty across the country, our success to date has been recognized by the national media, graduate schools, employers, and school administrators.
